Custom order: multi purpose Uncharted box

Shakira from Australia asked for an Uncharted box for her boyfriend's birthday, and if it is possible to use it for the ring bands at the wedding as well. Of course!

Update on custom order: Iron Paws

Update: We've received a review from Victoria and Apollo:
I am absolutely delighted with my custom box, I needed a box to keep my show leads and bits and bobs safe between shows. After explaining what I was after they were able to create our box. I wanted our Kennel logo on the front and this was achieved. It has the look and feel I wanted. Our puppy Ironpaws Iron Lady 'Apollo' approves of the box! Thank you so very very much. I'm very excited about our next commission!
Thank you Apollo for approving it!

Everything together in one box.

Victoria, who also is a Rammstein fan, asked for a custom order. She owns a kennel named Ironpaws with Miniature American Shepherds and asked if we could do a one in the style of the Rammstein box but inspired by Ironpaws.

That was no problem! Scroll down for the result or go to the website of Ironpaws for more information: http://ironpawsminis.co.uk

Custom project: Rammstein box

Custom Rammstein box

We usually make boxes for our customers but this time we've made something for ourselves! We are a team of two designer/makers one of us is a big Rammstein fan. Rammstein are a German rock band and they announced a signing session in London, so we had three days to quickly make a box ready to be signed. Including drying time.

How we've done it:
First we cut the logo out and prime it.

Primed Rammstein logo
Then we take a large wooden box, do the usual sanding and priming. After that we give it a few layers of special paint to make it look like metal. We give it straps and nails, on the bottom we add feet to the corners (two layers of straps) so it doesn't get damaged when moved around.

The logo is added and then we dirty the box up.

Done! We've got it signed and they were impressed! What do you think?
